HANNOVER MESSE – is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology. All key technologies: industrial automation, IT, industrial supply, production technologies and services, energy and mobility technologies – all this can be found at the exhibition.
The main slogan of the exhibition: “This is the place where the industry of tomorrow is born!”
This year, SmartEAM had the opportunity not only to attend the event, but also to present its solutions at the stand.
For the SmartEAM team this is a new challenge, an exceptionally rewarding experience, an opportunity to mark the latest trends in the field of automation of equipment maintenance and to start developing technologies that will be in demand in the coming years.
The exhibition was visited by more than 210 thousand specialists. HANNOVER MESSE has once again confirmed that the basis for a global transition to Industry 4.0 has already been created. The expansion of computer networks, new forms of cooperation between man and machine, as well as the growing integration of artificial intelligence into production processes are key areas of technology development presented in Hanover.
Here are the trends we have followed:
- Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) – IIoT technology consists of Internet-connected equipment and advanced analytics platforms that process data received from connected devices. IIoT devices can be very different – from small weather sensors to complex industrial robots.
Predictive maintenance is an activity based on process data, which allows to avoid maintenance and repair problems by predicting possible types of failure.
- Virtual and Augmented Reality (AR/VR) – The market for virtual and augmented realities (VR and AR) from 2017 to 2022 will grow by an average of 69.6% annually, according to an IDC report. A promising area where VR / AR technologies will be introduced is the maintenance of maintenance and repair operations with the help of augmented reality (output of a technological map, video instructions for augmented reality glasses). There are also great prospects for automating intra-warehouse logistics processes using augmented reality; this will improve efficiency by completely freeing up hands and transferring all the information on the location of an object in a warehouse to augmented reality glasses.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Artificial intelligence (Artificial intelligence, AI) – various technological and scientific solutions and methods that help to make programs similar to human intelligence. Artificial intelligence includes many tools, algorithms and systems, among which are also all the components of Data science and Machine learning. Machine Learning (Machine learning, ML) is a set of methods in the field of artificial intelligence, a set of algorithms that are used to create a machine that learnsfrom its own experience. As a training machine processes huge amounts of input data and finds patterns in them.
- Machine vision – is a scientific direction in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular robotics, and related technologies for obtaining images of real-world objects, processing them and using the obtained data to solve various kinds of applied tasks without the participation of (full or partial) man.
We have clearly developed for ourselves the following slogan “To introduce innovations today – to be competitive tomorrow.”
