RCM methodologies
RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) suggests automated control of the efficiency, safety and economy of equipment operation after a detailed analysis of the source data. The goal of this analysis is to develop an individual maintenance scheme aimed at ensuring asset reliability, i.e. the ability of equipment to operate as an element of existing manufacturing processes.
SmartEAM algorithm of RCM analysis:
- Register an equipment failure;
- Add failure causes;
- Determine the P-F interval (time between the moment when a condition parameter deviation was detected and the failure);
- Determine the possibility of failure detection by the staff;
- Determine the potential effects of the failure. Types:
- Health and life hazard;
- Environmental hazard;
- Production losses.
