How Interpipe TechFest 2018 was held ?

September 5-16 in the Dnieper, a festival of science, technology and modern technologies.

This is a major technical event, a real engineering show of the country, a holiday for all who are interested in Ukrainian industry, modern technologies and science. 9 expositions, including Industry Park and the unique Space Center – with the exposure of space technology. Testing new gadgets that are not officially sold in Ukraine. Competitions of robots, ships and radio-controlled cars. Also, an open-air lecture hall with the participation of renowned researchers, engineers and journalists.

The SmartEAM team also demonstrated at its booth the latest developments, namely the AR-solution based on Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2.0. Our company has become a partner of Google in the software development program for Google Glass and the only enterprise in Ukraine that has received glasses of a new generation. At the booth as part of Interpipe TechFest, we demonstrated the capabilities of the device, which allows you to see production KPIs, recognize and fix equipment defects, simply by looking at it, and interact with the equipment or assign jobs using voice commands.

Absolutely every visitor had the opportunity to test this solution.

It was especially interesting to observe how children test technology. In general, the event is aimed at raising the interest of young people in engineering, exact sciences, and stimulating informed choice of the technical profession.
